A. Cast Magnesium Floats

This is the original Haivala heavy-duty cast magnesium float, still offering maximum durability and service to the cement industry.  Our cast float construction gives you, the contractor, the best results possible from the first day on the job. This tool is manufactured to an ideal float surface and proper set to easily process your slab to the desired condition for final finishing procedures.

B. Extruded Magnesium Floats

The Haivala extruded magnesium float is a lighter duty and less expensive float than our cast line. Similar and acceptable results may be obtained, but this tool lacks the durability and dependability built into our cast products. The extruded material in these tools has edge ribs and two additional ribs extending uniformly the entire width of the float. We are able to market this float in much wider dimensions than cast tools.

C. Bridge Deck and Slab Texturing Floats

A magnesium combination float, 8" wide with a replaceable 3" wide stainless texturing blade studded to the leading edge. Slab texturing is accomplished as float is pulled toward operator on the return motion. Groove on center dimensions available are H", I", 1", 1G", 1H" and 2". Variations in depth and width are available on special order. Full scale groove size is shown above and are 3" long from leading edge of float.
